Nutmeg — 63′ Nordhavn

More than the usual shave and a haircut — a full strip of existing antifouling under climate control.

It was time for more than the usual ‘shave and a haircut’. Nutmeg was hauled out into our climate-controlled facility to have the hull fully stripped of existing antifouling coatings, followed by the application of Interprotect coatings and antifouling. The main, wing and thruster propellers were prepped and treated with Propspeed.

While the boat was hauled, our mechanics changed the rear main seal on the engine as well as the transmission input shaft seal. Being under climate control allowed for the stripping of the upper and lower cap rails, setting of the expansion joints and the application of Awlwood coatings.
